Skippertraining in Greece

For ‘Sail with us’ we went to the Saronic Gulf for 2 weeks this spring. In the first week we taught a group of people who were willing to practice the trip for prospective skippers. For the most part, the content was the usual port maneuvers such as docking, casting off and turning in a confined space. Rescue, anchor and reefing maneuvers completed our practical sailing program. We paid special attention to imparting safety instruction and engine knowledge. The training was followed by a relaxing week with a closed private group, which rounded off our visit to Greece when the weather was nice.
